Age Foundation Organizes Health Camp in Remote Villages

In a continued effort to improve healthcare access for underserved communities, Age Foundation recently organized a comprehensive health camp in several remote villages. The initiative aimed to provide free medical check-ups, basic treatments, and health awareness to residents who often lack access to proper healthcare facilities.

A team of dedicated doctors, nurses, and volunteers participated in the camp, offering services such as general health screenings, blood pressure and diabetes checks, and distribution of essential medicines. Special attention was given to elderly individuals and children, who are often the most vulnerable in such regions.

In addition to treatment, the foundation also conducted awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive healthcare. Villagers were educated on recognizing early symptoms of common illnesses and the importance of regular health monitoring.

The camp witnessed an overwhelming response, with hundreds of villagers benefiting from the services. Many expressed gratitude, stating that such initiatives bring much-needed relief and support to their communities.

Age Foundation plans to continue organizing similar camps in other remote areas, reinforcing its commitment to building healthier and more informed communities.
